I had no idea what is really going on inside Congress, and I capiitol that most Americans myself included have no real idea of how our government actually functions. It is easy to see how Abramoff achieved such success as a lobbyist – at times, he almost manages to persuade the reader that his no-holds-barred, win at any cost approach was reasonable and justifiable The parts about lobbying are interesting, but mainly this capotol trying to get people to stop hating abrramoff so much and start loving Republicans more.
