But you never, ever looked at him with that fascinated expression with which you used to watch Draven. Rafe is genuinely eolisa to have a brother and a new niece and welcomes them and his jamrs plan with his usual affability. But Lady Maitland is still under the watchful eye of her former guardian, the wildly untamed Rafe, the Duke of Holbrook.
I felt cheated cause you keep thinking the heroine is tamibg oblivious and freaking clueless the whole time only to find out she knew all along. How can you profess to love a man when you don’t know he’s someone else?
Instead, Rafe ends up engaging in a series of inappropriate encounters with the woman who constantly bedevils and entrances him.
And then along came Josie Essex. That inn scene hot damn.
He was beautiful, the way some Greek statues are beautiful, in an otherworldly type of way. Love and adore him. Yup, I would recommend suicide before I would recommend this book. I liked this book but there was just too much going on with too complicated issues to be resolved so quickly.
